The new SR-HD2700 Blu-ray disc and HDD combo deck offers direct recording to DVD and Blu-ray from both HD/SD-SDI and HDMI sources. A replacement for the SR-HD2500 model, the SR-HD2700 records BDMV, BDAV, DVD-VR and DVD-Video discs directly, or from the internal high-capacity hard disk drive, ensuring compatibility with the widest range of players. In addition, to prevent illegal distribution, the SR-HD2700 supports new security functions, such as overlaying characters or down-converting recordings.
